Polio-plus is a global campaign by Rotary International. The aim of the campaign is to eradicate polio by providing the children of the world access to a vaccine. So far, two billion children have been immunised, five million have been spared disability, and over 250,000 deaths from polio have been prevented. Cases of polio have decreased 99% since the campaign began in the 1980's.
